Steve Jobs was one of the most influential and important people of the 20th Century, so you can imagine that there must be some pretty interesting trivia out there about him! We did our research and found all kinds of fascinating facts about Steve Jobs, and now, we will share a few of them with you!

1) Ever wonder how Steve Jobs came up with the name 'Apple' for his company? With limited time to create a company name, he went with Apple because it would come before Atari in the phone book--the company he worked for previously.


2) Since becoming Apple's Lead Executive in 1997, Jobs kept his salary at $1.00. He made the choice to invest what he could have made back into the company he co-founded, as they were struggling after his absence of 12 years.


3) In 1986, Jobs purchased Pixar Animation Studios from George Lucas; which was later purchased by Disney in 2006.


4) Jobs was a mentor to Google's co-founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page. Later, Jobs felt betrayed when the two entered the phone business with Android.


5) Steve Jobs signature was inside of every original Macintosh--it was located on a metal plate, along with the teams signatures.
