  • Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own takes on Metropolis' most revered, modern-day savior
  • Ben Affleck asked Christian Bale for any advice he could give about playing Batman. The two men met by accident in a costume shop. They were both buying a Batman costume for their sons
  • Affleck gained an additional 30lbs of muscle and reached 8% body fat for his role as Batman
  • Rumoured to have a 410 million dollar budget, which would make this the most expensive movie of all time

  • Political interference in the Avenger's activities causes a rift between former allies Captain America and Iron Man

  • Director: Tim Miller
  • A former Special Forces operative turned mercenary is subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers and adopts the alter ego Deadpool
  • Colossus, a character from the original X-Men film series, is set to have a role in this movie
  • This is the first film in the X-Men franchise to receive an R-rating
  • On April Fool's Day 2015, Ryan Reynolds posted on Twitter that the film would be rated PG-13, which prompted fan backlash as the Deadpool character often swears and commits acts of graphic violence. Later that day, Reynolds confirmed that it was a prank and the film would be R rated
